What is Tinnitus?

In Tinnitus, you may experience the sound of hissing, ringing, roaring, clicking, whooshing, or whining. It is often only a perception of one of these sounds when there is no external cause. 

Some people have tinnitus temporarily. It could be right after they walk out of a blaring concert. But when it is chronic, it is a high-pitched sound that is heard in one or both ears.

If you suffer from tinnitus, your cognitive function could be affected, and your attention span might reduce. While these are its effects in the day, you could be sleepless at night if you suffer from tinnitus.

Some of the significant causes of tinnitus are as follows Stress, stiff neck or jaw, Low blood circulation in the brain, High levels of cholesterol in the blood, Cardiac ailments, Infection in the ear, nose or throat and  Stiffening of the middle bone in the ear.

Yoga Asanas For Tinnitus:-

1. Trikonasana:-

? Trikonasana helps to send blood to your head and neck.

? The muscles in that area are relaxed, and it will instantly feel your ears pop and open up. 

? This reduces or completely halts the ringing sounds.

2. Padangusthasana:-

? It allows a flow of blood to your head. 

? It clears out the toxins in the head and neck.

? You feel refreshed and energized almost instantly by practicing this asana

? The flow of blood to your head clears out all the blocks in your ears, nose, and throat.

3. Adho Mukha Svanasana:-

? This asana helps to lengthen the spine.

? The circulation of blood enhanced throughout the body through which cholesterol reduced and toxins are cleared out.

? Your head (ears, nose, and throat) is worked upon and oxygenated through this asana.

4. Ustrasana:-

? It is extremely beneficial for the throat and the heart chakras. 

? All the blocks in these chakras are worked upon and removed from regular practice. 

? Since tinnitus is one type of ENT problem, where the blocks in the throat chakra cleared and the ears also get the benefit. 

? This asana also increases the flow of blood in the head and neck.
